What a surprise, a blackpilled post on a blackpilled forum?
This post was originally going to be about games, but I gave it a little more thought. Everything sucks now, and I can prove it. It's not some nostalgia bullshit, because I can go back to old books and movies from my childhood and enioy them for the piece that they were. I'm going to break down bit by bit why everything nowadays is terrible.
1. Music
In modern singing and records every single song is lifeless. That's not to say things haven't always had lifeless variants but let me show you something. Listen to these six songs, three past and three present, and see if you can find anything.

What is one commonality between the modern songs and one between the past songs? I'll give you time to guess. Don't scroll further if you'd like to. I picked two country rock and pop songs for each.
The commonality is that they are weak. Where the songs I posted and more (Don't fear the reaper, barracuda) under present do have is a symbol, a musical accompaniment that ties into it. This contrasts past, where they're corprate words on paper shat out at you. There's some good songs in modern writing, but almost all are about love or foids or sex, or have autotune, or even just a shitty lyricist/lyrics/instrumental. Don't get me wrong, I love some modern artists. Rusty cage is amazing for instance. But most are just trash.
2. Plays/Musicals
Plays and musicals. Hoo boy. Used to be the highlight of my day to see these. And this is one of the few examples where I can also say the past was less refined, because shakesphere's stuff has not carried over well through the times. To read it was a slog, at least. But that is not the focus.
They're fucking shilling
Plays and musicals nowadays are forced to have a happy ending, or a morality behind them. The problem is what is seen as happy is dictated by the groupthink, the big mega corporations who have dedicated an entire month to gay people. Musicals nowadays in particular fall victim to this. Where they used to have literally the sky as the fucking limit now they have to adhere to whatever is PG in the modern lens. A good example of this is pajama game. In my highschool, and in many moderm showings, a character (who's pretty based) keeps trying to have sex with a girl. That's it. But they make a warning about this now? Like who the fuck will be offended and why should I care?
I'm sure most of you don't want to read all that because no-one else likes musicals or plays here so I will move on.
3. Books
For this one I will be using the oldest possible example of literature, and attempting to make it tie into my main point at 6. The Bible. People have always changed it. And I get it! Death to the author, it works just fine for J.K. But...
Acts 2:44-45
And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need.
Most
Acts 4:32
And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.
People
Acts 4:34-37
For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales and lay them at the apostles’ feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need. Now Joseph, a Levite of Cyprian birth, who was also called Barnabas by the apostles and who owned a tract of land, sold it and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
Forget
Acts 5:1-10
But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, and kept back some of the price for himself, with his wife’s full knowledge, and bringing a portion of it, he laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.” And as he heard these words, Ananias fell down and breathed his last; and great fear came over all who heard of it. The young men got up and covered him up, and after carrying him out, they buried him. Now there elapsed an interval of about three hours, and his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter responded to her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for such and such a price?” And she said, “Yes, that was the price.” Then Peter said to her, “Why is it that you have agreed together to put the Spirit of the Lord to the test? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out as well.” And immediately she fell at his feet and breathed her last, and the young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

Acts 5:4
While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
These.
Sure the bible isn't the best place for quotes, but damn if it doesn't get some things right. Meanwhile most books, particularly political ones, can't seem to stop getting things wrong. Femminism, capitalistic shit. Even fiction shoves dumb concepts down your throat, often saying monarchies are perfect and completely fair and just. There is no dissection of the material or intruiging points.
4. Games
Games are, again, why I made it. I was just thinking about how much I hate all the lgbtq shit in already rushed to hell games. Pokemon used to be so much better! And what the hell happened to fighting games? You can get one character and kick everyone's ass. Do you know how you get it?
Dlc.
Games coming out with day 1 dlc. Games coming out unfinished. I will genuinely not be surprised if games start actually enforcing the policy where they can just be deleted eventually. Gone are the days of games being things you can do anytime, anywhere. Now they're subscriptions you have the pleasure of enjoying. Speaking of subscriptions...
5. Shows
What the fuck is wrong with this?! What happened to blockbuster? I can buy something and then have it. Period. No terms of service, no losing it eventually. I have it. I wasn't ALIVE for blockbuster and I miss that shit! What good does netflix do for ANYONE? The literal ONLY good part of so many streaming services is competition so markets can't just jack up the prices insanely. Even then they're just too high though.
In conclusion...
6. What to do?
Remove capitalism. Communism is the one true way.
I am serious.
What is the one problem with trends and modernity influencing media? The problem is capitalism! It's profitable for this but not that. It stopped becoming a passion and became a job. If you remove the job, remove the reward, it is ONLY passion.
Some would argue that rewards allow for people to do things. That everyone would just be a janitor if they could. To that I say: have you fucking met people? I hated cleaning. I would honestly rather be in a normie art job if I could. And that is my passion, I can do as much as I want.
Some would say it incentivizes people not working too! To that I say, deadlines suck. Some of the greatest things were done without any pay or incentives. The only thing that cost influences is cheap solutions.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk
