I remember when that song came out. I was 14. I felt like Soad became more mainstream sort of when they released mesmerize. Steal this album is probably my favourite album with them. I remember when i got my first MP3-player back in 2003 for christmas. I just downloaded some Soad songs and put them on it and the very first song that started playing on the MP3-player was Highway song. Back then a MP3-player was the coolest thing ever. everyone had one at school. I only got 256mb but i was really happy with it. Unbelievable how a small thing like an MP3-player can have such a big impact on you.

As much as i hate consumerism, it seems much easier to appreciate music when it’s a physical copy. Since you’re limited to a certain amount of albums. Now you can listen to any song, any time you want
