Every one knows the meaning of lower your standards. It’s all just indirect ways of being told to not go for who your attracted to because your indirectly being told your not attractive enough for who you like so you should not have the person you like as an option. Most normies will not admit they’re indirectly saying this if you reply with the direct description of what lower your standards actually means like how I just described it.

If who people are attracted to is beyond the control of the person saying lower your standards then isn’t it just pointless to say lower your standards because they’re not going to pursue who their not attracted to. People who are going after who they find most attractive can often have the gut feeling they’re going to be rejected so if the attractive person can sense a gut feeling of rejection from the person pursuing them the attractive person knows the person trying to pursue them is less likely to ask them out.

The reason the term lower your standards goes around so much is because people are less aproving of average looking people going after the most attractive person. The average looking person can often be looked down on as a fool going after the lowest odds of success if the average person is trying to get with someone most people think is to attractive for them and that’s why they get told to lower their standards it’s all for the reason being they have the highest chance of rejection if they keep trying to go after who they find most attractive.

I put no effort in to getting a girl friend and when I had people telling me to lower my standards it was probably because they thought I was to ugly for any average looking foid I’d go for so it probably wasn’t even done over the assumption of me being not attractive enough most of the time
