The war between disenfranchised millennial men who have no job, no career, no property ownership or cheap rent, no pretty wife or girlfriend their "boomer" counterparts (men born between 1946-1964) is well trodden.

Baby Boomers had it easier, end of story. They don't have the rejection, sidelining and red-tape men face against impossible odds of securing the basic life a boomer had.

But what bugs me is when, an admittedly attractive daughter, of a boomer couple (1946-1964) scrapping into Baby Busters/Summer of love couples daughter demands her own sexual partner looks more like a male model Chad, than someone who "reminds me of my Dad".

Real case in point 1
A blonde Jewish girl had a father who was balding/bald, had a fat body and by his own admission was ugly. He got boomer privileges millennial men, are denied, and told "you're not entitled to anything".

Real case point 2
A part Arab, part "romance" culture racemixed girl had a Father who looks like John Cazale and a sleazy movie villain.

So if unattractive men can help sire physically attractive people, why aren't they calling out their daughters for hypergamy?

Boomers are also all in on the ideology of their generation of complete womens' freedom. So to even question whether the daughters decisions are good and beneficial for her and society, is to question a lot of the ideology their generation grew up believing in and fighting for. Its easier to just practice cognitive dissonance and never let their minds go down that train of thought.

For later generations feminism is just something that was always there and they are taught to like. But the later generations aren't emotionally invested in it, like they didn't fight for it or have that hope for a better world with feminism when feminism wasn't fully in place because of reforms.

New ideas also take awhile for the consequences of those ideologies to be felt. Eg.. even when easy divorce laws were passed, most women kept living the way the culture already was. But the knee of the curve is eventually hit and when we got massive breakdown of families and all the consequences that go with that, now we can see the other side of the dream of feminism.
