I used to have these "friends" back in the day who were massively upset at me for the fact that I wanted to be more than the role of a meek, harmless asexual beta male they assigned to me. They would tell me in that fake nice way "look, not everyone has to be a macho player! You're young now, you'll get older and wiser and around the time you're approaching 30 you'll meet a nice girl who'll be devoted to you and you'll get married!" (I was around 19/20 in those days). Basically they were softly telling me "look you ugly asshole, partying and getting laid in your prime is OUR business, you can only get our sloppy seconds when you're older!". I'm so glad I don't talk to these people anymore, I'd rather have no friends that be around a bunch of slimy normies.
