I used to swim competitively when I was in middle school/high school. My parents wanted me to succeed and signed up me for extra lessons outside of standard practices. Being the shortest guy on the team, I was one of the worst. One day, my coach said that I have the best technique in the entire group. I followed up with why am I the slowest in the group then. Probably one of my most painful memories, but now that I know what I know, JFL. Tbh I blame my parents, no competitive background, both under 5'5, and they were pushing me into competitive sports. It's kind of hard not to be a failure when you were born with a genetic baggage that describes you as one.
