Sure it can. Assuming we are all currently 20 years old and live to age 80, that gives us until 2070's.
Many technologists believe in a singularity occurring by 2040. If a singularity does occur, you can best best that "believable VR/AI" would be available very shortly after. Assuming these predictions come true, we will have it by our 50's. There may even be anti-aging technology which can add some years to our life, perhaps people may start living to their mid-100's. It's not out of the ordinary.
Lol 50's, by then you would have long missed your prime sexual years and your dick will barely work. It won't be the same.
No you silly goof, if a species is able to engineer "believable VR/AI" then they should also be able to manipulate the brain into feeling anything.
In fact, to manipulate the brain is a prerequisite to achieving believable VR.
You do know what believable VR means, yes? Look around you right now. This could be a VR. That's what it means.
The VR must affect your sensory nervous system. In other words, we are going to be hooked up by our brains. You will (theoretically) be able to simulate any emotion or feeling. Example: You could simulate being a baby newborn, and it will feel no different than when you were a baby newborn.
It's over
it never beganIt's over
You're right but do you honestly believe a singularity is going to occur within our lifetime? A singularity isn't even guaranteed to happen.

Well if we get life extension tech our lifetimes could be thousands of years. That gives us enough time.
