The trade deal has been delayed yet again by the usual suspects (hungary and the gang, plus the greens lmao). Are you for the arragment, or are you against it?

Here is an overview over the trade deal for the uninitiated:
The EU-Mercosur Partnership Agreement is a comprehensive 2024-finalized trade deal between the EU and South American bloc Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay) to create one of the world's largest free trade areas. It eliminates tariffs on 91-93% of goods to boost trade in cars, machinery, and agriculture, while emphasizing sustainable development. The deal aims to Removes tariffs on 91% of EU exports to Mercosur (e.g., cars, chemicals) and 93% of Mercosur agricultural exports to the EU (e.g., beef, poultry) over a phased period. There are export limits on sensitive sectors like poultry and beef, and even strict environmental rules plus protection funds to appease the farmers.

Being against this is anti-german discrimination.

thoughts since you are a germancel and this will affect you the most if it goes through. @TheGrayWolf

I am for it, but we export more to South America than vice versa. Still, I think it will put some pressure on the US. Trump's tariffs are quite damaging to European companies and people who live in the US.

yeah the reduced tariffs will do wonders for eu companies, and maybe reduce food prices in eu depending on how big the import limits are.

I like it, South america is chill and it will benefit both sides

Should've been agreed a long time ago, I barely understand why (domestic politics) the countries that are against it are so. Makes sense for both sides, and it's just been in the works for so long.
