They both have full names that starts with E and ends with R.

Both are white men with black hair (I know ER is biracial but he's white just like how Obama is black and not white)

Both always have that emotionless, blank expression.

Both wear black long sleeves.

Both are mass murderers who killed indiscriminately

Both are edgy asf.

Both have deadbeat dads that left their first wives for a new one.

Both are basically misanthropes.

Both gave a speech before doing it.

The Rumbling and Retribution starts with R and The Retribution was ER's own equivalent of The Rumbling.

Both wished deep down that they could "not do" what they did but felt like they have no choice, hence why both tried very hard to find an alternative. For ER it was finding a romantic partner.

And last but not the least, BOTH DIED A VIRGIN.

Eren is my favorite anime character because of this.

I remember viewing the first attack on titan episode during 2013.
Needless to say I saw eren as extremely badass, however I did not like the fact that deep down he felt somewhat regret for what he did in the end.
She should not have felt guilt or shame, seeing the world of the mundane crumbled and trampled over to give them all a taste of what your life was like being metaphorically trampled over must have been a relieving experience.
