Envy leads to anger because you may not be able to get what others have, and it may or may not be due to unfair reasons, so you get angry

Then you become hateful, violent, resentful, and say bad things due to anger and become hateful

When hateful, you don't care about behaving well to those you hate and you may steal to obtain that which you envy
