The dog in the video is very similar to you and I; looked down upon as a foul, lesser creature with no value to society. I used to be extremely religious and if my current standpoints and philosophy were explained to my past self, I would not be able to wrap my mind around them and would see my future self as some kind of demon. I guess people change with time. But then again, that was when I was young and that religion was the only thing that I had known, I had not chosen it myself.
Coincidentally I am in the same boat as you. Can't drive due to my poor eyesight, I have needed glasses for a long time now, but I can't get them due to other issues (my eyes have been hurting since a while ago, and I need to get a diagnosis for that first, but the eye doctor who examined my eyes couldn't figure out what it was, so she sent me to another hospital, and I have been waiting for an appointment, so I am stuck in this stupid cycle).
