This goes way beyond not finding short men to be attractive. Some women hate short men on a visceral level comparable to a racist's hatred of ethnics. But unlike racism, this behavior is condoned. Many of these women are members of the PMC. They can reject your job applications just because of your short stature. They could deny you promotions. Short men face systemic discrimination in society.

That of course extends to gay men, male feminists and even FtMs. None of you will be spared. As a short man, you are shooting yourself in the foot by ignoring or downplaying heightism.
