Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, Or CTE, is when the brain is severely damaged by repeated concussive blows to the head over a period of time. This happens most commonly to athletes who play in full contact sports like boxing and American football. This phenomenon has been rigorously observed and studied and is a well known risk for those participating in these types of sports. However what I believe is that there is an emotional equivalent to this that people face and is not spoken about enough. As Iwhat I believe is that there is a emotional equivalent to this that people face and is not spoken about enough. As I said in the title, I called it emotional CTE. Basically it’s the same thing as regular CTE, but is caused by extreme emotional distress that occurs on a repeated basis. The most common example of this is somebody, usually a man, getting rejected over and over in the context of romance. Normies and Chads like to say that the worst she can say is no, but we all know that’s bullshit. Besides her ruining your life by calling the cops, every know that you hear subtly destroys you. Rejection may not hurt on the physical level, but knowing that somebody use you unworthy has to have you being declined from forming relationship with them hurts the psyche. And in a long enough time scale, you become black pilled. Honestly sure that that’s the case for most of us. I think about it like this, you can be a boxer that’s extremely durable and has a great shin but even if you don’t feel pain when you’re getting punched, the damage is still happening. You’re just dealing with a lot better. Even people who deal rejection in a great way are still getting hurt psychologically they’re just putting a better façade on to mask the pain.
