that's what I hate about most of the internet now, its so hard to actually have free speech and too many platforms regulate the speech way too hard and the platforms that are more lax are always way too niche and technical to use for most people to get on

basically or simple messaging apps that don't really have the same forum feel/layout, i2p might have a few and some people still gather around on irc but its pretty much dead. I think the days of internet forums have pretty much fallen besides like reddit
