I'm not saying that personality (or mental capability) doesn't matter because it does especially in his case where he's not actually ugly and deformed, but that's not how he describes his failure with women. He mentions that girls don't "give him a chance" and that if they go to know him they'll see he is worthy of being a partner (implying he doesn't have a metal deficiency).

also you have to keep in mind, we don't know how he really acted around other people including girls. In his videos and manifesto he was obviously ranting and was expressing his anger, I'm sure he acted somewhat more normal around others (for example his roommates) which would allow him to get at least some girl if he really tried (again not fucking asking stacies to go on dates or whatever out of the blue).
