The disparity between media coverage of Pekka and Elliot seems to be a matter of context. Had Pekka been an American who committed the deed a few years ago there would be significantly more furor over his online content - and the evolving nature of social media would have contributed to the nature of posts he made online. American media tends to sensationalize such events but the frequency of gun attacks also dilutes the efficacy of propagating one's message posthumously.

His ideology seemed like a cringetastic mélange of independently defensible arguments coalesced into this...bizarre monstrosity. His extant content isn't very memeable either.

At least he was more efficient than Elliot.

The rumors about his father being a wealthy man are overstated but he could easily have saved up for a sliding genioplasty and rhinoplasty had he manned up and accepted one of the menial jobs offered to him. Truecels don't even have that opportunity due to their hideous visage.

It is interesting that liberal media uses his diminutive frame and penchant for singers like Whitney Houston as evidence for his effete personality while denigrating his delusions of grandeur as "toxic masculinity" despite such "toxic masculinity" being rather similar to female patterns of thought and behavior, e.g. entitlement and arrogance, overestimation of self-worth, etc.

His psychological profile bears more resemblance to the average 21st century female than a regular misogynist.
