I recently finished a book called Elementary particles where Houellebecq wrote about a world in which human intimacy is a commodity and the sex market goes through severe atomization where the losers of the sex market were relegated to social pits of severe loneliness. Houellebecq world has now become true and I've decided to type an analysis on his story and I'll basically summarize it all then extrapolate from it.


The story starts of with two boys named Bruno and Michel who were abandoned by their mother who sees her children as impediments to her sex life so she trashed them and left. The mom is described as a hedonistic hog who similar to other women her age (29) only care for pleasure and their sex life. She drops off her kids to their respective grandparents and then proceeds to engage in drug fuled orgies where she used a litany of sharp and dangerous objects. Bruno who was ten when his mom abandoned him went to a boarding school where he was bullied and ostracized for being severely autistic and weak and he got through it by masturbating to porn magazines and reading misanthropic comics. Micel went through a very similar experience but got through it by becoming indifferent to it all and reading science novels and tried to figure out how he could completely eradicate any feeling of joy so he doesn't feel the need to be forced into the sex competition.

These two characters are what Houellebecq used to show the contrast and the full picture of Western suburbanism and San Francisco values. The entire world gets consumed by the Market (the Cathedral) and they basically show the two interactions and choice that modern man has. Michel corresponds to the terminal neomarxist revolutionaries that have invaded the West and thus the world since the West is infinitely all powerful and has global spheres of influence that democratically controls all cultural dissemination and Michel is the social revolutionary who veiws joy as a elementary particle and is an existentialist who wants the end of everything. Bruno is basically the victim to all this and absorbs all the pain that Michel does. These two contrast basically represent the two hemispheres of the brain and its fusion being that of the West right now which is the right hemisphere and the left hemisphere combined with left dominance (defect/defect equilibrium), the left hemisphere is devoid of pathos while the right hemisphere synthesizes both pathos and logos and has a more holistic veiw of the world. The people who use their right hemisphere have been tormented and destroyed by left hemispherers who have invaded the world and turned everything sacred into just kinetic elementary particles.

Nurorightist have been attacked so much that it disrupted their goods and has made them unable to function. Nuroleftist are parochial and narrow in thought and worship logos so they are able to easily function.

The most trivial games involving sex and prestige just eat our entire culture, and if you bring them up, it's considered a major faux pas and essentially a social crime. Everyone tries to give the impression that they are wealthy and get laid, but it's a big problem if they really say it out loud. It's so dishonest and psychotic that I don't know how normies manage to do this throughout their lives without going insane. And, these habits don't really have an off switch. For example, you can't look them in the eyes and tell them, "This is beyond retarded, stop". This is why a lot of the best philosophers like Nagel Spinoza etc are Jewish. They aren't tied to these weird censorious taboos.

Yeah I understand Jews in a lot of ways in terms of similar temperament, I think. Very melancholic thinkers who exist outside of such systems I think, yeah it’s more and more absurd to me how basic we function off social power plays, you know, hierarchy in mating, Houllebecq is really good at articulating all of it in a modern setting.
