Souls games are my favorite type of games so I had high hopes, but the open world destroyed it.
Still a good game, but the worst souls game in my opinion, I havent replayed it yet. The open world feels like a waste of time to me, I would rather just replay Bloodborne or Dark Souls 3 again.

i never played any soul game since my pc can't support those games but one day i will try them out when i earn enough money from my job to buy a decent pc or laptop

but the game still looks better than dark souls 1 and 2 especially the bosses and the weapons

They are good tbh, I enjoy them. I play on ps4

Yeah, the fact that games are shifting to open world completely really bums me out. Not everything needs 3d graphics, games used to use 2d or pixel or polygon. In the same vein, not everything needs to be open world.

It looks good but it doesnt play as good. Maybe is better than ds2, but way worse than ds1

I hate the open world meme, normies eat up anything as long as it has an open world

Luckily, I have an Xbox One so I can run it. I def want to give it a try and think I might like it better than Dark Souls -a series I want to try- since it is open world similar to some of my fav. games like Witcher 3, Skyrim, etc.

I only started BloodBorne, but quit pretty much after the beginning

Sekiro is the best :feelsjuice:

I didnt like Skyrim, felt like a walking simulator to me

Why? It's one of the best games of all time

One of the best games of all time, you should play it

Dragon´s Dogma may be the only proper open-world hack n´slash game out there!
I never even tried Elden Ring tbh.. ( just secretly pirated to play it... in maybe... 5 years from here L0L....!!!! )

I am a pretty big Skyrim fan so I am inclined to disagree; I do see your point but like all open-world RPGs, you have to grind at first and focus on the story a lot so that way you level up, get more skills, better stuff, etc.

Up until level 7-8 I died a lot and got frustrated, but I found a lot of enjoyment in the game and still do. I have all the DLC, and find the story to be fairly decent & entertaining, whilst side quests also provide some good enjoyment.

Yes, the map is huge and you do walk a lot, but I feel that adds to the immersion of it all.

I would, but I only have an Xbox One, and I don't think the game is available on PC, which even then mine can't run since it is a regular laptop I mainly use for college :feelsjuice:.

If I can afford a Playstation console one day, it will def be one of my first games to try along w Ghost of Tsushima & Horizon Zero Dawn.

Get the PS3 version, if you still have one.
It plays smooth, no problem.

Skyrim on the other hand, not so much after 200 hours in it...

I'll pirate it on the switch and play in my bed

Horizon Zero Dawn is garbage. Is the typical sony movie game where half of the game is walking slowly while the characters talk. And even when you are free in the open world, the camera is terrible and the movement is extremely slow and cinematic. I dowloaded when it was free and jninstalled after an hour.
