Cope. Ukraine had Tatars and other eastern minorities. Significant part of Ukraine was a place where various steppe nations lived. So Ukrainians may even have less Slav blood than Russians.
Russia has Tatars and other Turkic people as well, even they're different from imported trash from central Asia. Before invasion there was no such amount of tajiks, uzbeks, northern caucasus diasporas in Ukraine. Now Crimea and southern Ukraine will have to enjoy that diversity.
There is no difference with the EU. In EU, Ukraine would became flooded with blacks, Muslims from Africa and Near East etc.

putin has virtually transformed the face of russia and turned it into holy russian caliphate. But he does not believe in any god. And he has no nation. it is not illegal but prepare to welcome friendly chechens and record an apology, because russia is a multinational country and everyone should respect each other. Russian as ethnicity pretty much doesn't exist at this point. The only officially promoted and allowed interpretation of this term is russian = loyal to the (current) regime. Nicholas II was russian, Stalin was russian, Ramzan Kadyrov is russian, etc.
english language doesn't have translation for rossíjskij, the word russki is rarely used today.

it doesn't matter. The term itself has changed its meaning largely thanks to the state propaganda. I don't even call myself russian at this point, this ethnonym is shitstained. And i've never been loyal to the regime to begin with.
