You can buy meat from grassfed cows that got to walk around freely and live good lives before getting killed. That meat generally tastes better and is healthier too.
But not eating meat at all is something I would never do. I would maybe eat less meat and better quality meat from happier animals. But I would never quit completely.

This argument is completely salient depending on where you stand ethically (guess you could say that about anything really). You could also make the argument that the mass abortion occurring today is far worse than the chattel slavery of blacks in the U.S. although 99% of normies would disagree.
