My father never told me how to be a man or told about anything ( even such small things as why you need to shave ). Also I feel that respect for a common man is practically don't exists in Eastern Europe. You're just cannon fodder. Some females expect you to be a gentleman a help them even when they have husbands or boyfriends. They treat you like a servant. One Russian female at work even tried to use imperative mood ( expressing command or demand ) when interacting with me.
