On one hand, we all know that nothing will change from how immigration is like in the West and we'll just be repeating all of their mistakes and getting all of their problems with them.
On the other hand, with how much thirdworldist leftists gloat about Europe stagnating and being finished, it's hard not to be amused at that fact that EE is one of the few parts of the world that are visibly converging with the West, with EE countries becoming an attractive place for outsiders to come to being the ultimate proof of it. And also, this only started in the last few years. As late as 2022, I've seen takes on this forum and elsewhere, that non-Europeans would never be moving here, because why would they if they can just go to Germany and such. So much of our self-image is based on our countries being the shitholes which are being emigrated from because no one wants to live in them, that foreigners actually coming here changes everything about how we see the world.
I can't stress the latter point enough. Before 2020s, maybe one or two EE countries, and I'm not sure if I'm not counting Russia, were getting migrants from outside of the region. And suddenly, my country (Slovakia) seems to be the only EU country not annually getting a decent amount of immigrants (yet). It's like somebody just flicked a switch for the entire region. Like, Eastern European Reddit spaces are still filled with self-hating leftists and liberals who don't believe that anyone would want to live in our countries, and "we are losing people" is still the number one anti-government attack politicians use. Nobody knows yet how to react to us getting migrants, and it's pretty amusing to watch.

It has indeed become "economically viable" for brownoids to come here, but there also rumors that the process is being artificially helped along, with employers that know that cheap workers are coming and thus refuse to hire locals. It's mere speculation but what's surprising about a little more evil these days?
Yeah I know what you're talking about, but I've seen our local redditors and politically minded people flipping pretty quickly from anti-nationalist, to anti-nationalist combined with being as pro-immigrant as possible... I mean what position would you expect them to take anyway?
