Why, lol? Many pet snakes are super friendly. I actually have a pet ball python and it's a good pet. It never hurts you and isn't a pain in the ass like cats and dogs are.

The snake I have is just a 3 foot long ball python. Not venomous and can't strangle you. Pretty cool animal, ngl. You can hold it and it's cool to watch it eat. I don't like cats and am kinda neutral about dogs. The thing I hate about dogs is how some people treat them like a child and pamper the fuck out of them

Yep. Funnily enough, my mother has a dog like this. It's a beagle who follows her around and sits with her. Not an affectionate dog at all and it makes these horrible grunting noises to get food whenever you are eating. I hate these obnoxious noises it makes, so I shoe the dog away. My mother then scolds me for being nasty towards her precious dog. This dog is also horribly aggressive and barks at anything it sees. I can't even let my uncle or anyone else in the house because the dog barks nonstop. Quite sick of that dog and all the drama it stirs up
Nope, only rats I buy frozen and then heat up in hot water. I don't feed it live animals because it's better to get frozen ones that were humanly killed. Besides, live rodents can actually harm the snake and make the snake more aggressive. When you feed them stuff that is essentially just meat, the snakes are much calmer. You'd be surprised how chill a snake like this is

A former friend had such a snake, too. We went to the pet shop and bought a mouse to feed it. It was interesting to watch how the snake killed the mouse and how he devoured it.

I know. Also, that dog ruined my night walks on me. I took the dog on night walks as a crime deterrent and as protection because it's a rough neighborhood, but this dumb fucking dog decides everything he sees is his and nobody else belongs there. Because of this, he viciously picks fights with dogs 3 times his size other people are walking. He almost brought a giant german shepherd over that might have killed me. He's too much of a hazard to walk. I can't go myself because it's a rough neighborhood. So now no more night walks (which were a good peaceful cope), and I still have to clean up after that awful dog

I used to work for a local forum. And we had a dude there who was really eager to adopt all kinds of animals. Kittens, puppies etc. Every month he was adopting a new pet. We were wondering what dies he do with them. Later we found out he had a python and he was adopting these pets to feed his pet.

Not really. It's not that it's a terrible neighborhood, but there are just enough idiots out there it isn't worth the risk. Once I start a job and have some spare cash and this bad dog hopefully dies in a few years, I want to buy a German shepherd dog to take on walks. It would also come in handy to take to our cabin when I go there myself. I never go myself currently because there are some hooligans out there who I don't trust, but with a dog like that nobody would mess with me.
