I would be more annoyed at dry hands in general, rather than specifically knuckles. Unless you plan on using them.

My hands somehow are not dry but my knuckles are very dry now due to all the alcohol I have been pouring on my skin. It bothers me because it makes my hands look really bad. They look wrinkly like a monkey.
