I paid around 1000$ for 14 classes where I drive for one hour, I knew nothing of driving aside from starting the engine so I go and I am with an instructor in their company car, I thought first class I'd get taught the basics, which is sorta what happened, but only driving for like 5 minutes in the parking lot until the instructor says, "OKAY TIME TO GO ON THE ROAD!", I was already overwhelmed and that didn't make it any better, fortunately I only went through residential neighborhoods.. I don't know the basic concepts and they already have me driving, the instructor tells me to go practice, which is hard when I don't have any car to borrow, then, the classes get progressively more difficult, and the instructor gets angrier like it is my fault, I hated her condescending tone, final class we went on the freeway and I was really scared, I never want to do this again.
In the end, I learn to drive decently, but it is because my parents had gotten a new car and they let me borrow their old car, which I practiced around 20 hours in an empty parking lot, moved it up to 20 hours in neighborhood, then streets, and I haven't tackled freeways after that.. but 1000 dollars down the drain, and I didn't learn anything

I learned to drive with zero experience and lied to the instructor that I practiced every day. I needed my license badly. Gotta adapt out there or the world is going to eat you.

My first instructor was terrible. He couldn't get his points across and would get clearly annoyed whenever I would make the slightest error. He also would make strange remarks to me, such as I said I got 65% on a test and he said that's terrible - but in a disapproving tone. My mother booked 3 more classes with him but I refused to go to all of them. The first time I saw him his first question was for my age and I replied, then I went off at me about why I haven't got my licence and about not having any friends to see. Then ranted about how I should already have my licence and it's an embarrassment that I don't.

Then my second instructor was brilliant, I only had one lesson with him but learnt 10x more than I learnt in the 5 or so lessons with the first instructor. He taught me how to parallel park in less than a minute perfectly. He also told me that I am a great driver, which completely contradicted what the other instructor would say to me.

What I have learnt out of this, is that it's the instructor you are with. Make sure to get someone good before you book in a bunch of lessons.

This was also in Australia if you were wondering

Are you retarded? Why would you pay $1000 to learn how to drive in the US. As long as you don’t kill someone there, you’ll pass your driving test.

Fakecel for sure. lol

u gotta be an actual retard to fail a driving test

like if u played any car games as a kid you'd know how to park, drive, turn a car

how the fuck are u guys failing a driving test?
During my childhood and teenage years there were no such games available to me. jfl

And in Germany things worked quite differently back then.

Regardless, I have passed on the first try and paid for it myself.

Get mogged, I guess.

If you dont know how to drive, you need to teach yourself and go outside of your boundaries, I started by driving to places that are close (grocery store, gas station, fast food places) and work you way up to farther distances, this applies to anyone who doesn't know how to drive

Oy vey, height is everything copers on the loose.
You won't admit you're 6ft now? :feelskek:
I am 188 tall.

Wait, wait. Your retardation doesn't end there.

Tallfag. Jfl
Holy shit. The hypocrisy in unreal. Just do us a favor and shoot yourself in the head.

I had the same kind of experience. Insane how much driving instructors vary, one would think that they would all teach in more or less the same ways but that's not the case at all. Crazy how some instructors can be such assholes and still keep their jobs, but maybe that's because they are nicer to non-incel learners.

I'm American and never learned to parallel park. If I ever have to do that I'm saying "screw that" and looking for a parking lot. :lul:

Parallel parking sucks. I work as a delivery driver and if I'll drive a couple hundred metres from my destination if it saves me from parallel parking.

Man, I know you are actually crying right now, and that is ok. Let it all out.

True, it sucks.

Also I am sorry OP you had to go through that shit instructor. For incels it’s best to take things easy for safety tbh. I practiced with a family member going around an empty parking lot 1-2 days before hitting empty streets and asking to hit the freeway that quickly is suicidal. I remember not driving the freeway for 4 years before I finally started to regularly.

They require it for the test where I live. My driving instructor was pretty good and showed me the exact steps to parallel park and it made it so easy to do on the test.

By the time I needed to paralell park IRL I forgot all the steps.

kek. ur trolling right
Of course I am, but this moron just does not get it.

He is FUMING at the mouth just because I am tall.

He hates me for that alone, although I am in the same boat as him.

This is why incels will never change anything. For any positive trait they will eat each other.

But it is fun to rile this moron up every now and then.

The first instructor who I was talking about was a strange man. He wore this pink flowery shirt, and had a daughter that he would always speak highly of and compare her to me in regards to driving or school work. Probably a fag for all I know.

The second instructor somehow knew my dad so maybe I got treated better because of that? I doubt it though, he was just a naturally very nice guy

My drivers liscense test was after school when I was in 12th grade and it was 3 sessions and essentially we just drove around, learned the very basics of driving (change lanes, use indactor, learn what the center console and turn indicator and windshield wiper does) along with parallel parking and 3 way turn, which was easy as fuck.

THat was litterally it. Passed my exam first try
