What are you drinking tonight to cope? For me, it's Jim Beam & Coke... going to go easy tonight and just have 2-3 drinks since I don't want to get too much just enough to have a comfy nights sleep since I find it hard to fall asleep until like 5-6am.

Fellow alcoholcel here. I drink beer every other day but I will not fuck with hard liquor anytime soon again.

My anxiety hits like an absolute train the next day when I wake up hungover from drinking hard liquor.

Right as soon as I wake up, all of my problems that I drowned out the night before comes rushing back and my heart starts pounding. I get so anxious and frightened I can't even get out the bed.

I'm nothing but a failure and I fucking hate society.

Shit brocel, you just described what I feel when I wake up. Also it fucks my day up since drinking makes me wake up early for some reason and I end up tired, hungover and anxious which usually leads to a day or 2 off then I feel fine on the 3rd day and the cycle continues.

I didn't drink tonight since I feel like shit still but might give the whiskey up for a while and stick to beer since it seems to work for you.

defo not gay tbh, I can't drink straight liquor since it's not enjoyable. I mostly mix cheap whiskey with diet coke but gone off it recently.
