I find that drawing and practicing my drawing skills is a good way to ignore the world around me and forget about my problems. I wanted to draw anime/manga at first, and the more and more I drew the more I began to forget about the world and foids around me. I was very happy and content with myself for a good month (the drawback to this was that I didn't bother working out or managing my hair as a result of this). It was a good way to spend my summer days.
My feeling of peace and content end when my roommate showed me a picture of my oneitis with some other guy at some EDM festival with a bunch of other cute girls. I was informed that wasn't her boyfriend and that she currently had none but that image made me depressed all over again, and that's when drawing became my only real cope (besides working out when no one was in the gym).
