i had a similar experience too last time i drank too much. was expecting a raging headache for the entire day and maybe more after getting completely hammered the previous night, but a couple panadol and some water after waking up fixed me up quickly

In terms of how it tastes cider but I usually drink spirits like vodka just for the purpose of getting drunk
Alcohol just makes me feel shitty and tired before I even get "wasted" plus my sleep that night will be horrible if I drink
Did you at least get drunk with some friends? I recall getting drunk with a few friends was at least somewhat enjoyable, even if I was drinking my sorrows away

I use stuff such as gatorade to deal with them

I'm drinking some v8 juice for my hangover, and I think it actually helps quite a bit surprisingly.
