What about myofunctional therapy, is it basically the same as mewing where you need to do it for years before you see changes?

It makes my face look depressed and pathetic, and I have trouble with tmj pain and breathing while working out and sleeping. How tf am I supposed to make friends and money when my face literally screams 'Subhuman depressed pos', especially since I'm socially awkward?
