Not so long ago watching anime was exclusively for weeaboos and neckbeards, and superhero movies were just for kids. If you liked those everyone laughed at you and bullied you. However something changed and now normies watch (casual) anime like Sword Art Online, Shingeki no Kyojin, My Hero Academia, Tokyo Ghoul... And they make theories about Marvel movies and are like "omggg I got that reference" I also hate sports simulators videogames because it allows normies and Chads to play videogames, seriously every normie and Chad I know say "I have a PS4 and I only play FIFA and Call of Duty".

Yeah I remember when Pokemon was a niche thing. I used to get made fun of for collecting Pokémon cards and playing on my Gameboy at breaks but now it’s part of mainstream culture. Don’t think I like that tbh.

@thespanishcel , a Chad that I worked with unironically asked me if I watch anime. I said no, and then he started talking about One Piece. Another Chad I know has a Dragon Ball Z game on his phone. The first chad also has over 600 hours on League.

I take refuge in hobbies females won't touch, model building, radio projects, robotics, automation, etc

They usually don't require that high iq, just patience, money and some ablity to read instructions. A mentor will susbtitute for and of those 3. Unless you're designing from scratch, that takes some knowhow.

Avoid fandoms or hobby groups of anything. They've all been taken over.

Due to Dragon Ball and other anime aring pretty much 24/7 in my country anime was always very mainstream here, so I never got to live a time where anime was relatively obscure. Although anime cons were always a mix of weirdos, incel tier guys and chadlites.
I haven't been to one in a long time though, so things might have changed.
