A movie that a significant portion of women are wetting themselves wanting to see. This is female doublespeak right here.

Women find this popular because it romanticizes the 1950s and women secretly want to go back to a structure where the man is dominant and knows how to romance a woman through that dominance, yet the main message is how women are trapped inside the house and how “the 1950s was sexually repressive”

Yet the entire fucking movie still romanticizes the 1950s and it’s style of romance despite trying to give a superficial and impotent feminist message that checks the Neoliberal checkboxes of socially acceptable ideology.

Olivia Wilde, you are an example of why women shouldn’t direct, you are a coward with no ideals.
