i dont want to sit here grinding shit programming, its confusing as fuck and i feel like i am never making any progress or am getting any closer to being able to do it.

but i dont see how i will ever get a remote job that pays above minimum wage any other way. i have to grind shit programming that i dont even make progress in or get any closer to being able to apply to a programming job because after months i still dont know shit about it or have any ability to code.

yet what are my other options in life? work at shit stores gas stations and fast food joints for my entire life? work sucking someones ass in a call center? do backbreaking manual labor for barely a higher wage then being a fucking cashier?

im backed into a corner where i need to grind for years learning shit programming or else accept working at the poverty line the rest of my life

pretty much all jobs are the same as this, you will always feel empty asf doing them and sooner or later you will just feel like giving up.
you just need to get used to it if you want to secure financial stability

literally no options, STEM jobs are the only things incels can do these days. all other jobs need normie tier people who can socialize perfectly with others

on 4chan /g/ (technology, basically computers folks) literally say it that if you have no prior experience with solving basic higher level college math that' above algebra (calculus, number theory, discrete maths and algorithmic thinking etc all) PLUS you did not start with even basic tinkering of games and such programs in past; then the learning curve is going to be extremely steep for you to climb up;

and frankly every damn fucking thing regd programming is available on internet for free be it books or youtube tutorials to what not; and yet very few can actually make it working for them

/g/ tards go even farther saying if you didn't crack programming before 25 of age you never will in realistic terms

so i don't want to burst your hopeful bubble or anything but it's going to be quite a challenge for doing on your own; yet you have my wishes fren
if you need anything regd computers just post i will ask around some folks here i know (besides computers was the thing i wished to do in my life but my goddamn father ruined it in many ways...never mind)

do tech support or data entry

you could also do manual QA. it doesn't require coding, can pay well, and can also be wfh.

Dont do it its too late

AI will soon take all our jobs away just chill until then

It's getting harder and harder to land a job as a programmer.

Immigrants are all grinding it out and they're willing to work for minimum wage and will work longer hours and happily be a slave bitch for a corporation. And then people in 3rd world countries go onto sites like Fiverr and will do the job for the equivalent of $1/hr.

How can you compete with that and make a living when houses cost $1 million dollars and the cost of food is rising at 50% per year.

yeah and if it doesnt, where i am after those years of "just chilling" and AI doesnt take the jobs?

you talk about it like its the same as farming or digging dirt. immigrants are not "all" grinding it out, because it takes a certain tier of intelligence that most of them dont possess, so even the ones who can "code" are shitty at it.

sounds like people guarding entry to the field and autistics who tried to program for a week and a half and then couldnt figure it out and went back to playing vidya

/g/ tards
im sure someone who has financial freedom and is intelligent is found on a shit board on cuckchan. those are definitely not just a bunch of burn out smooth brains writing dog shit to feel better about excessive electronic degeneracy

bs.

coding is easy. even 85iqcels like me could do it with some degree of success.

the hard part is negotiating with your coworkers (a lot of devs literally can't communicate normally) and dealing with framework and their quirks

coding isn't that hard and you shouldn't grind it. it should come natural to you. It gets vastly easier once you realize virtually all coding is just if then else statement and loops

Focus on database administration.

It's much easier than traditional programming and pays well (or at least it did last time I checked - I don't know how the IT job market is now).
true it is easier and pays good. Although IT market as a whole still fucked.

sad truth. Now AI faggot will fuck us over more.

true as well. Many sperg co workers sometimes hard work with.

what do you guys think if i get scrummaster certified and just memorize all of the buzzwords and shit and smooth talk the hr with the scrum agile buzzwords

if a tech boom comes around that might work. right now would be hard to get in with that.

what is there for work in tech then that involves just saying the right buzzwords
project manager, scrum master. Business analyst. product manager. But good portion of these still require some degree even if job is easy. Foid HR uses degree to discriminate

how often do they check degree? like if I just makeup fake school that never even existed and say i graduate in "business administration" and just list the scrum buzzwords and just talk in generalizations and never get pinned down to anything specific, sort of like politicians do

rly depends
some HR just look for these key words
some (especially manager-interview) care more about how you do programming exercise/knowledge with language or framework
some care if you have the 'programming mindset' (the step by step if then else thing)

i suggest learning 'em three

why would they care if you know how to program when youre applying to lead a tech project that has atleast 2 or 3 pro programmers on it? scrumleader is just a meeting manager who knows how to assess a situation and apply tasks to those whom would do the best

They check it most of the time sadly. My company did a very thorough background check. Degree is the hardest thing to fake. Experience and other stuff ie easier.

It's guaranteed that this will happen.

I already started using AI to help myself at work and it's doing a solid 5-10% of my work for me already... And literally the only reason It's not doing 60-80%+ of my work right now is that it can't read huge code bases yet because of the limited token capacity of all the large AI models. Once they solve that shit in a few years programming will become obsolete as we know it now. People won't be needing that many programmers, just small teams proficient with AI tools to build / maintain large source-codes.

Most programmers are garbage. Myself included (but that is due more to being depressed as fuck and lazy since its over why should I bother...) Like literally 80%+ of programmers are just literal nigger-tier monkeys that just copy shit over. Like if you took one of those monkeys out of their eco-system and told them to make something from scratch they would unironically be unable to do anything. There is no need for those monkeys anymore.

They are literally ChatGPT personified, but more retarded. Literally the only reason 80% of programmers exist today is because AI token capacity is too low to read through massive code bases. But once the token problem is solved the code monkeys can be replaced by AI that does the same shit but x100 faster and more accurate.

Like right now, senior devs can't do everything because there is just too much work to do. That is why they need code monkeys to work for them. But when you give senior devs the power of 100 code monkeys under them then they can just do everything themselves there will be no need for code monkeys anymore.

If you're serious you should pay the money and sign up for a code camp.

It's a lot faster than getting a degree, and you can actually get hired. Whether you become a good programmer and can keep doing it and making a living for years or decades is another thing.

How about mailman?
Most are making around 50k.

I believe the top base pay after 12 years is 75k in most areas. With some overtime you could clear 100k.

I don’t know if you consider that “backbreaking manual labor” though. It might be.

Tbh. If you’re older than 25 it will be harder to get in as well

Ye same, I fucked up my 20s with being a depressed shut in, outside of lifting weights I did nothing in all those years so I didn't developed any skills.
Programming is tedious but we have no choice, the good thing is that IT is basically the only industry where it's okay to be a complete loser for years with no history since basically 50+% of IT are filled with, as we call it in Germany, "Quereinsteiger" in their 30s up to their 50s and the other 50% are high IQ proteges who code since the age of 8 years old.

Nigga you need to have a minimum IQ of 120 to be able to code efficiently.

Ripperino buddy I'm in the same boat as you and coders will be replaced within a year or so by AI kek. Truly no job will be untouched by the AI revolution but intelligent labor goes first :dafuckfeels:
