I'd probably try it but doubt I would eat it regularly. From what I've seen, it's typically very gamey and doesn't taste great.
It would also probably be expensive: dogs are more difficult to contain and raise than standard farm animals, have a high feed to meat yield proportion, and there would be minimum demand for it (it would be rare I imagine even if legalised).
Dogs haven't been selectively bred for their meat like other animals, and for good reason. The meat would be inferior to other options.
