I get cagey, I see the cynicism in their face, I see how their questions are trying to trap meye ye
did u ever go to the therapist before?I get cagey, I see the cynicism in their face, I see how their questions are trying to trap me
Close enough, they'd sell you out to the cops if you say the wrong things.Feels like talking to a cop
Yeahdid u ever go to the therapist before?
Australian therapists will admit themselves that they'll call the cops if you're suicidalClose enough, they'd sell you out to the cops if you say the wrong things.
Very interesting, all the more reason to be wary of them.Australian therapists will admit themselves that they'll call the cops if you're suicidal
Curry relatives love asking how many blonde Stacey's I'm slaying even though I'm the shortest man in the extended family.Dinner with my parents feels like interrogation
Relatable. It's especially older relatives who ask me if i have a girlfriend. I don't even say "no" anymore because they'll ask why and what am i supposed to say ? I just tell that it isn't any of their concernCurry relatives love asking how many blonde Stacey's I'm slaying even though I'm the shortest man in the extended family.
IM SHORTER THAN MY OWN FATHER AAAAAAAAAHHHHH
I agree with you but your cat example is a poor one. Realistically they'd tell you it's okay to be sad but a natural part of life and that you should appreciate the time you had with the cat and be gratified, maybe buy a new catI don’t understand why someone would voluntarily see a therapist.
They aren’t going to agree with you. They’re there to challenge your beliefs and perceptions and you pay them for it.
God forbid it’s a rainy day and your cat just died and you walk in and say you’re feeling a bit sad, they’ll prescribed you antidepressants and antipsychotics and slap you with labels that will impair any ability for you to exercise your rights or go about your day.
With a therapist, it’s not okay to feel sad, hurt, angry, or betrayed without being labeled as a “high-risk” patient in your medical record and get prescribed pills to numb you from feeling a NATURAL human emotion.
