if so any tips

I just run however comfortable when I run. I don't run often but participated in track back in grade 7 or 8

I tried when I was 19, but it's easy to trespass while free running so I quit. Also I'm disabled and it was too much for me to handle. The most I did was climb walls, trees and fences. I went on a roof once.
Feels bad man :(

I mean freerunning
Just running? Start off slow and work your way up.

dont fall or youre fucked

do a wall run

I'm too high inhib to do free running, but I may buy a treadmill for home use in the near future.

first step is conditioning and balance, the first exercise i was taught back when i was taking parkour classes was to hold heavy object in squat position for as long as u can trying to maintain balance. Get into calisthenics, push ups, pull ups, etc. grip strength and forearm strength are vital for freerunning especially if u wanna do crazy shit like climbing up the sides of buildings

the first techniques i was taught were vaults, theres the kong vault, the double kong vault (very advanced), the side vault the lazy vault, etc.

one of the biggest hurdles of freerunning is overcoming fear, for one exercise i had to fall backwards with my eyes clossed off a 12ft high brick wall and be caught by the other students, i had an easy time with this for some reason but in the real world if u second guess yourself ur going to get injured.

i dont recommend practicing any of this outside of a gym u could unironically die.

also theres a difference between parkour and freerunning, parkour is getting from point a to point as fast as possible, and freerunning is running around doing many flashy tricks and flips, 'freerunning' requires you to already know the fundamentals of parkour so i would start there.

i quit after i attempted doing a backflip (with a instructor), and ended up snapping my middle finger in half, luckily fully recovered cuz i was like 13-14 at the time

Kong is scary af

It should be free, I wouldn't pay for it.

I thought that meant bare feet.

No in either case. I suck at running and I hate doing things I suck at.
