Brutal. It is actually 15 years old and has around 225 hours of hard use on itMogs my non existent lawnmower to oblivion
Bought brand new in 2009. It’s a 24 horsepower 50 inch cut, to top of the line back in the dayIs your lawnmower an older or newer model?
I see. My dad bought a mower kinda like yours recently because my parents bought a house with an acreBought brand new in 2009. It’s a 24 horsepower 50 inch cut, to top of the line back in the day
Nice. This one mows a 1.5 acre yard with lots of hills and a super wet section that has very heavy grass. Do you know the horsepower and cutting width of your dad’s mower? Most of them are not as heavy duty as mineI see. My dad bought a mower kinda like yours recently because my parents bought a house with an acre
Brutal. I love the outdoors and couldn’t stand to live in a city surrounded by nothing but buildingsyes as i have neither a lawn or a lawnmower
I don't. The one he bought is smaller and has the same handles as yours to maneuver itNice. This one mows a 1.5 acre yard with lots of hills and a super wet section that has very heavy grass. Yep. 1.5 acre yard with lots of hills and wet sections along with many obstacles. Zero turn machines are great for traction in we spots because the engine sits above the rear drive wheels.could cut a normie with that thing. I presume you have a large (1 acre +) lawn.
So it’s also a zero turn. Any idea the brand? Mine is a Craftsman bought from the sears store before it closed.I don't. The one he bought is smaller and has the same handles as yours to maneuver it
Brutal. Zero turns are handy in certain areas and quite fun!0 turns me
I only have a scythe

Not right now. I can take a pic and post it in this thread tomorrowSo it’s also a zero turn. Any idea the brand? Mine is a Craftsman bought from the sears store before it closed.
Yep. It is fairly fast for a lawnmower too. Also have a cart to tow behind it to haul logs and stuff. You don’t want to use it on side hills when wet though. Then it will start driving and slide all the way down the hill! (Happened to me once and happened to my dad a few times)Like a drift cart with a bottom propeller
Ok, cool. I’d like to see what kind it is. Post a pic of the engine too if you can. The back cover the seat is mounted to usually hinges forward on a zero turn like this. Some of them just have the engines sticking out the back and visible tooNot right now. I can take a pic and post it in this thread tomorrow
I'll do that too and post it with the other pic of the whole mower. I think the engine is visible in the backOk, cool. I’d like to see what kind it is. Post a pic of the engine too if you can. They were $3,500 USD back in 2009, but we got it on sale for like 2,800. An equivalent machine nowadays would be around $4,000-$4,500How much was it?
Ok thanksI'll do that too and post it with the other pic of the whole mower. I think the engine is visible in the back
Sheiiiit. My ryobi gen 1 was like 300 bucksThey were $3,500 USD back in 2009, but we got it on sale for like 2,800. An equivalent machine nowadays would be around $4,000-$4,500
Push mower, I assume?Sheiiiit. My ryobi gen 1 was like 300 bucks
No problemOk thanks
Hell yeah gotta get them steps in.Push mower, I assume?
Must have a smaller yard. No fucking way anyone would use a push mower in the massive and hilly yard at our cabin. It takes at least 2 hours even with that powerful 50 inch cut riding mowerHell yeah gotta get them steps in.
Lol. Do you not have a yard? If not, are you from the big city where there isn’t much besides buildings?I only own a vacuum cleaner
The local government makes sure someone always comes by to cut down the weeds for me to comply with regulationsLol. Do you not have a yard? If not, are you from the big city where there isn’t much besides buildings?
looks old and pretty run down@Dr. Autismo thoughts on this motor vehicle?
Push mower has a modern Briggs and Stratton overhead valve engine by the looks of it. Likely an EX450 engine. My push mower has an EX550 engine. As for the riding mower, I have no idea what brand it is. Never saw a blue one before. It is definitely a smaller cut than mine though and less heavy duty. Also has the engine behind the rear axle, so will be better at side hills than mine, but will suck at climbing steep hills and could tip backwards easily
Riding mower also looks to have a large single cylinder engine. Probably a 14.5 horsepower or something similar
Brutal. Riding mowers mog when you have a massive yard. They are useless in smaller fenced in yards in town though because they are too big. I use a push mower to maintain my grandfather's small yard in town.I have to push my lawn mower standing up and get mogged by chide relaxing in their fancy seated lawn mower

The acre at the house my parents bought is flat with woods behind it, so it won't tip. The push mower is a newer model, so that's why it has a newer engineRiding mower also looks to have a large single cylinder engine. Probably a 14.5 horsepower or something similar
Can you send a pic of the riding mower engine? I bet it's a briggs and stratton or kohler engine. Curious about the horsepowerThe acre at the house my parents bought is flat with woods behind it, so it won't tip. The push mower is a newer model, so that's why it has a newer engine

Looks like a briggs or kohler. Can't tell which, but it only has 11 horsepower. That thing would overheat and blow up if it tried to cut the heavy grass I have at the cabin. My engine mogs yours with it's 24 horsepower. Any idea how old this machine is? Pretty sure they don't put that small of engines in any of the new ones
I don't know the exact date, but i know it's older since my dad bought it 500$ cash from someoneLooks like a briggs or kohler. Can't tell which, but it only has 11 horsepower. Makes sense. Plenty of old ones had kohler 11 horsepower engines or briggs and stratton 12.5 horsepower engines. They were dogs in high grass and you'd have to go ridiculously slow to not overload it. Even my 24 horepower one starts lugging down in super thick grass. This engine would not survive. Sounds like a good buy for $500 though as long as your yard isn't super thick or high grass. At our cabin, it sometimes goes weeks in between cuts and needs a powerful machine to handle it. Anything less than an 18 horsepower twin engine would not be idealI don't know the exact date, but i know it's older since my dad bought it 500$ cash from someone
