Ngl with each year I hate New Year's Eve more and more. It feels like a very shallow celebration for normies to go out wearing a suit and a tie, pay for ovepriced crowded nightclubs and get wasted. Also all the shitty celebrities specials on TV and your family expecting you to be happy and excited because it's new year. It's a very miserable night for me and if it weren't for family I swear I'd just treat it like a normal night.

Ironically I like Christmas because it feels less fake, I still get gifts and the food is better. Also it's more about family than partying.
