What do you think about headlamps in general?

I wanna buy a headlamp so I can more realistically imagine myself as an outgoing sexhaver going camping with my girlfriend.

I used to had one and theyre extremely useful while fixing things or working in yard. Light is always pointed at right direction and both hands are free. It was Chinese one from ebay. The aluminum housing, boards and led itself lasted for years, plastic that hold the straps broke early on.

I had like this one and its utter garbage. It stopped charging and light was really weak.

My good one was like this, using two 18650 batteries, so it was very strong and battery lasted for 4-5 hours on brightest. But can you see the thin bending plastic? It started snapping on weak points. Yous should get one of these, with thicker plastic.

Whenever I go on a nightstalk. Roughly every week.

What do you think about headlamps in general?

In their modern configuration they have effectively replaced hand held torches. Lithium ion batteries are great however they can't get replaced easily which sucks.

Dude.... Women don't actually like nature. I literally don't know anyone here in my friend group that goues /out/ing with their girlfriend. It is true that I have seen a lot of couples hiking around here, though they are usually 30+ so in my age bracket such a thing is a phantasy.

Furthermore why get a head lamp if you don't plan on using it? Unless you are very well off financially it doesn't make sense to get a 20$ modern two colored lithium ion headlamp.

For many years ive used the th20, aa headlamp. Lasts a long time and has a light ramping function so you can dial in the lowest light for the task to save the battery.

I use it while going to the outhouse, and in the outhouse on moonlight mode. I also use it to wash dishes outside...and doing nightime for dog ear tick checks....

I prefer the center beam ones because the light is more even than the side lighted ones. It's about $30usd and well worth it!

I like how it sips aa battery juice. Easy to find anywhere.

Oh yeah, get the non blue light one. It's more easy on the eyes. I forgot the word for it. =

I use it upside down so the switch is on the left side in case my right hand is covered in blood. From skinning deer at night...

I use a Gerber pocket aa led flashlight for adjustable red green blue white beams... But it is a bit big and shitty.

I have it on a glow in the dark lanyard I can hang on my belt to use the red light on the ground for stealthy night hunting. (Coons, possums, rats...)

Or just being sneaky.

Remember! A headlamp is a good thing to aim at in a skirmish. So don't use one if you think you might get shot at.
