It is a bit hard to describe but basically I separate from my actual "consciousness". I'm still myself but asking who I am. You can think of it like a spiral where I am separating from myself every turn. I used to do it on purpose since it was "interesting" but I got a bit too deep and it took longer than usual to get out. Sometimes it can start involuntarily and I have to work to ignore it.
