I'd guess that you are either not that ugly or you are tall, so not weak, awkward and bullied, short and boy looking so people are not intimidated, or simply haven't noticed you are having the piss taken out of you. If you had an attractive bone structure they would find you handsome and "different". You would be considered to have your own style,to be a free thinker.
