Does anyone else feel smarter than most people but also dumber than most at the same time?

I feel like my critical and abstract thinking skills could be greater than that of most people, which isn’t saying much nowadays.

But in other ways I’m much dumber than average because I can’t socialize well, I can barely do basic math, and can’t function in a job that requires anything more than doing repetitive tasks off to myself alone.

Can anyone relate? What’s wrong with me? I’ve always felt like I was really stupid especially when I was in school, I was in special ed because I was so bad at math.

But in other ways I couldn’t help but feel like a lot of people around me were dumber than me, even if they seemingly had better grades than me and were in higher classes. Just based off their behavior, vocabulary, the way they think, etc. They just didn’t come off as intelligent people a lot of them.

I don't think I am smart, but I do feel like I am an intelligent individual that is MONSTROUSLY dumb retard at the same time.

Being intelligent and smart are 2 seperate things.

Also, when it comes to socializing IRL or having to do stuff with other individuals, people think I am "slow developing individual" "mentally ill" "weird".

This is due to the social retardation that Aspies have on average. When you were isolated by society for so long and sent your own way by being forced to live a life fueled by EXTREME loneliness, it's no wonder that i don't have any social skills.

Being street smart is what matters if you want to live a normal social life.
