Correct me if I’m wrong on this, not fully polished with my history. But in 13th century Europe, if someone shit talked you, weren’t you allowed to stab that person to death and have it be legal? Wasn’t it something about honor or something like that?

And I do know that mostly everyone carried a dagger on them at all time. Shit talking someone would easily get you killed or brutally beaten.

It was dueling, meaning you had to challenge & they had to accept
