Tbh I really wouldn’t mind watching something like this (the ball dropping) to “bring in the new year” as some kind of tradition or ceremony, but the latter, the couples’ makeout fest that happens and that they have cameras going around zooming in on, just completely ruins it for me. It’s such a couple-centered event, that I don’t watch it.
