I agree, algorithmic based content feeds don't allow us to control what we see online and it's essentially decided for us. Like recommended stuff instead of what people we follow post.
I use a uBlock origin script to block out YT shorts and I don't use the Jewtube mobile app, ShitTok or Instagroid
Brave also has added the option to block YouTube shorts in their browser as well.
Brave is based on Chromium so I don't bother with it. I like LibreWolf

Gonna have to change that. for historical reasons I'm still using firefox as my primary, Chrome as my secondary, and LibreWolf as my tertiary, but now that Chrome doesn't support extensions anymore, I'mma have to stop using Chrome entirely.

Negative content is more intriguing than positive stuff cause it tugs on emotions and is more likely going to have someone comment, or share the information therefore boosting it's viewership.
