In movies, tv shows songs, even irl, when I see a good looking guy I try to imagine myself as him to the extent that I almost feel disconnected from my own self, of course the illusion quickly falls apart and I'm left with the depressing reality of being a genuinely ugly truecel.

I dont watch movies or tv shows

Most media depresses me.

yeah, i am addicted to daydreaming, its pathetic but it is what it is, my life is a nightmare and cant wait to die in my sleep tbh

I do this all the time, last summer I watched tons of romantic comedies like "She's Out of My League" and those stupid teenage comedies like "American Pie". It's a fun time tbh, I might get back into it. I would get super into the movies and have a heartwarming smile on my face when watching them. As you said, I would picture myself as the characters, in a way.

I only see blackpill everywhere

No I could not do that even if I tried, placebos don't work on me, and I'm the kind of person that if I have a problem I can't ignore it, it will be in the back of my mind endlessly clawing at my psyche.
