I don't think so, if only considering the 90s. Feminism was still suppressed, for the most part, and it wasn't as easy for foids to live independently. My job would have been enough to set me apart to poor foids, but now it means nothing. There was also a backlash to the 80s' hedonism. Even under a Democratic president, we were able to get a reduction in the welfare state! That period must have been bliss — burgeoning tech, a reduction in crime, an increase in living standards but still some common sense. The US peaked in the 90s and I missed it by being born towards the tail end...
