So I was thinking.

Some people here are crazy about war strategy games or just love military history in general, given all you know, could you be of any use in an actual military affair?
Historically, there has been numerous figures who became somewhat successful at military combat and leadership despite having 0 military experience or background. Cromwell, Louverture, Leon Trotsky, Mao, Vo Nguyen Giap and in more recent times Sergei Shoigu. It seems war is a matter of trial and error. After a few battles and engagements, I'm sure you could probably lead men + we have tons of war manuals from people like Sun Tzu and Clausewitz.

We need a radical anti-feminist revolutionary war.

Idk

I played a lot of Age of Empires, Warcraft 3, Advance Wars, and various other war games.

I read some books on military strategy.

Maybe I could be a good officer.

I love rts games and I fantasize about it. Not sure if I would be good at it tho :feelsbadman:

ill just spam quotes from the little red book to get the morale of my soliders up.

You can be a new Napoleon just by buying drones on Amazon

In modern times, probably not.
But if we are talking about the older wars, I believe it would be much easier compared to our modern tech. With modern technology, you'd not only need to understand it but also teach your army how to use it, whereas with an AK-47 for example your army would already know how to use it since it's just like any other gun.
Must've been fun in the simpler days

Modern warfare doesn't require much expertise

I repeatedly studied the campaigns of hannibal, Julius Caesar, alexander the great, and Teutoberg vald when I was younger. I would literally spend hours on end trying to find errors in their strategy and play it out on ck3. I constantly simulate as a Victorian overlord in worldbox and almost always get the charming leader badge. So, I honestly I think I would fair pretty well as a military leader. I'd have Ludendorff's battle IQ (from his manuals) Alexandros adaptability (from my experience with various military conflicts), Caesar's speed (I'm natrually quick and can apply it) and Genghis Khan's real time innovation ability (spontaneity from worldbox runs). Not to mention, I'm a Graviteam 2x gold medalist on hard (no buffs). I was one medal away from gold medaling a -100% resource deficit against the Teutons. (Obviously in the ancient world). For modern military, probably the same but a little worse. It's a matter of basically this, how would Ludendorff fair of in the 21st century? He said himself he was no military genius? There’s no difference between me and him at a certain point.

It's much more simpler now if anything.

It’s not just competence though

How you manage under intense stress determines a lot of it

I would create a coterie of thoughtforms to give different advice from various parts of my mind to soothe me. Kind of like black angel from yu yu ghost detective

I could lead them to their death, or our deaths.

I think not, but I'd still pick modern time wars as I would just nuke the whole world xD
Ancient wars killed much higher percentages of the population than the modern world. The 30 Years war killed 1/3 of Germany’s population, the punic wars are similar for Italy. Probably half of North China’s population died with the Mongols. It's was a much more dangerous place at the time thus requiring more fine skill otherwise you would have your women and children pillaged and raped.

I'm very aware of this and it is exactly why I believe I'd do better in ancient wars as I wouldn't have to deal with PR and cucked countries trying to step in as I capture and rape the Jewish sluts and use the kike men as forced labor..

So in the plight of rugged war, you're not gonna be worried about complete utter barbarism in which where children are literally being hanged on stakes but rather CNN editorials? International conventions make war easier. As a military general, you won't be dealing with the politics of it all anyway.

No I'm not worried about it, I thought I had made myself very clear that I won't lose the 'war'.
And even if there was a chance that I might lose, I'd still take it because that chance would be very small yet the satisfaction of invading another country, capturing their men, and turning their wives into a comfort women system for my soldiers' pleasure as we invade another country and do the same
I like being barbaric rather than accepting the enemies surrender and letting them go.
Instead of that I would trick them into coming to us with no guns and then hang them by their feet and let my soldiers use them as practice targets..

What? Did you even bother reading my reply? I presented a contrast. You're supposed to reply "I would worry less about x than x because of x" like a normal literate person.

My reply is perfect, flawless.
It's not me to be blamed for your nigger tier reading

No

Yeah lead them to death

Of course! You just select them with your mouse

Yes, I would do it gladly. I often fantasise about having an army and invading a village, and doing whatever I want to the villagers with my men.
