These two things are connected. Normies are "better at life" than us for the same reasons we are more intelligent and aware than they are. Intelligence can be defined by a willingness to criticize normative society and its hypocrisy from the outside. Those within it are socially/materially better off, but can't do this. They'd be punished, kicked out and wind up like us if they did.
However, they aren't in this position because they consciously decided to refrain from doing that one day. It's simply the natural default human inclination to be accepted/conventionally successful in society as this is how happiness is procured. Their lives are literally more pleasurable, comfortable, happy, safe and secure. They don't feel the need to criticize the society that rewards them for their complacency.
Of course, many normies want to feel rebellious and like they acknowledge society's problems, but fail to properly do so because they are clearly just interested in upholding society at the same time.
That's what Leftists are and why they are so stupid. It's why you can't generally look to the academy to find genuine insight, but must seek "alternative" writers. (Ted Kaczynski was flawed, he was a luddite, but is smarter than any professor. Marx rejected rejected or criticized most thinkers around him, and obviously recognized most academics/"intelligentsia" were expectedly bourgeois and contradictory hypocrites because of it)
People who are more intelligent tend to be more isolated. More ordinary people have a mindset more conducive to social conformity, hence have more acceptance and success in conventional society. (which extends to all levels: acceptance from peers, material success, and on) Numerous philosophers have pointed out exactly this,
such as Schopenhauer. Of course there is a correlation with happiness and being simple-minded too: ignorance is bliss. In the end, though, people are motivated to not be ignorant and to seek after intelligence by circumstance: being ignorant is a default state, and with no motivation to leave it, one never does. That's why foids are dumber than men, because they live life on easymode. (including uglier ones) This is also why normie foids are dumber than normie men. (normie men are really worse though, because they are one step from being like us but can't admit that and all their hatred to us is a cope on their part; foids and Chad are best looked at as a mindless force of nature)
The blackpill says the main reason incels are rejected is due to height and looks. (Genetic diceroll for facial attractiveness) This is correct, but it is a vicious cycle: those who are less socially accepted due to being uglier are obviously more likely to be isolated and retreat into their mind, thinking in critical terms to the society that rejected them for as mundane a reason as being ugly, poor, coming from a bad family, or all of the above. Then if they think and talk this way the same society rejects them that much more.
This is why it gets worse over time and there are more of us now than generations ago. Obviously, our parents were incels, they wouldn't have had us if they were. It is common for parents of incels to be borderline cases: average-looking/ugly/short-heighted, but just managing to find a mate, ensuring poor genes and worse luck yet to the off-spring. (of course, it should be noted if foids were less picky about height than they are, we'd be even
shorter, but it's just retarded if they don't plan to have children)
To be clear: I am not saying it is as simple that we necessarily look like everyone else but happen to be so much smarter/think differently and rejected for this alone. (if anything, statistically incels indeed are generally either average or below average; an incel forum of mostly above average guys isn't conceivable) Nor am I saying it is as simple that everyone here is ugly. (if anything, it is remarkable to what extent guys here are around average in looks; making us out to all be uglier than we are is actually a cope if anything) It is a combination of being born with lass than ideal genes and the self-fulfilling/vicious downward cycle dynamic I explained that wound us up in our situations.
Crucially, it isn't our fault, as society/normies tell us, but it is of course rather the fault of society and the women who reject us due to their insane high standards. (which only get worse with time, as the economy worsens foids get pickier and more demanding of men) Society exists to justify women being this way, it's inseparable.
