I honestly think in all honesty it is. There's no other reason humanity is so self-content/ fledged on wanting to fuck with eachother, or be so unimpressionably distant to the majority of eachother. It's almost so bad that I really wonder if the premise that life is in the state of unity/ utopia right now is all fantasy. We should be prgoressive but unfortunately, although we should be perfect, humanity is fighting against all of these things deliberately.

i think it's more machiavellic, either you absolutely extort people and make them need you and look stupid for not serving your interests, or you fail to their 'denseness'.

I think we are competitive in nature and, although some people develop post conventional morality according to Kohlberg's theory of moral development, a majority of people act in self-interest which often involves taking advantage of others and fucking them over so you can gain. If you act in a way that is more likely to benefit you then you increase your chances of surviving. So to answer your questions, yes nature made us this way.
