In the grand scheme of AI, do you support?
What has happened, currently happens and possibly could happen.
I personally limit myself to the support of Medical AI. Using AI in the medical field has proven good so far, and could become revolutionary in the future.
But I do not think AI belongs in the hand of the consumer nor in work places. The work places is a large medium which we as humans need to defend (because I sure as hell don't want to be replaced by a clanker.) AI will eventually be less expensive than any human ever, and thus completely make every human being obsolete. If we one day achieve the ability to build Robotics, then it's also over for blue collar work and is not just limited to White collar and so forth.
We also must think about AI potentially becoming sentient, which may seem silly and merely a movie thing, may genuinely become a reality. Which obviously poses a large threat to all Life on this planet.
Also AI currently consumes enormous amounts of resources, water I will leave out.
OpenAI is BURNING billions of dollars for JewGPT per year (or month, I forgot.) which is insane.
Also the eventual censorship of AI will destroy its purpose to be a tool of help, and will rather become a tool of control.
Control: AI is actively being used to skim through the large mass of the Internet, searching for potential harmful Content which poses a threat against the current Overlords. This trend will obviously carry on, until we find ourselves in an "orwellian' society, where everything is tightly controlled and watched. Palantir is the forerunner for such thing, and will prove it's ravenous teeth in the future.
Conclusion: AI can have strong benefits to SUPPORT Mankind. But as everything, I also believe it has massive risks, which could outweigh the benefits by large. What good is a controlled Orwellian society when we can finally treat cancer or prevent it? I don't think that that is a good trait.
Honorable mention: AI will eat itself up. AI feeds itself AI generated content, eventually creating an infinite system of fake studies, fake knowledge and so forth. Making AI virtually unusable. So all those companies burn their money by the billions, while polluting our Air and destroying our environment.
